Day #182 -186: Camping
I'm kinda notorious for my hatred of camping. in the weeks and days leading up to a camping trip I do nothing but whine and dread and drag my feet. but the truth is, once I get to the camping site and we set up our stuff, I actually have a great time.
So that's what we've been doing the last few days: camping at Lake Chelan. And we had so much fun! We swam in the lake, took trips on Uncle Mike's boat, and I even rode a Wave Runner.
one of the reasons I enjoyed this trip so much is because I brought a book. There's a lot of down time for us grown-ups, so while the kids were riding on inner tubes, I was reading Stephen King!

Day #179: Road Trip!
We're leaving the scorching hot terrain of Southern California to the slightly less scorching greenness of Western Washington. The Bradford family needs a change of scene... and temperature. Photos will be coming soon!

Day #178: A Finley Farewell
Yesterday, I went to Joshua's house, and he generously spent the morning and afternoon finishing a special little film in honor of Patti and Greg Finley, two amazing directors at the Canyon Theatre Guild. They are moving to Boise this month, so Cheri directed a special tribute for them.

Day #177: What Have I Done???
I signed up to attend the Society of Children's Books and Illustrators. But I've also done something I've never done before. I signed up to display a portfolio of my art work.
The problem? In comparison to the amazing artists there, I'm pathetic. Also, I don't know if I have time to get my Ducktown illustrations polished and printed in time for the conference. I have until July 31st. I was crazy to sign up for this, but at least it's motivating me to get a lot done.
