Day #31: Preparing for an Author Luncheon
This Monday I will be attending an author luncheon in honor of an awesome charity: the Assistance League of Ventura County. There are two other writers presenting. One is a historian, and the main event author is none other than Lisa See. (The novelist behind the best selling book China Dolls.)
I've been to book signings before, and I've done school visits, but this is new territory for me. I've never stood in front of a large group of grown-ups and discussed my life as a writer.
