Day #22: The Days are Packed

I am beginning the third week of the semester. I just
finished a stack of narrative essays (over sixty papers). 

There's another stack that will be hitting my desk on Wednesday. 
 
As if my day job wasn't busy enough, my assistant director (Pat Mannion) and I
began conducting auditions for Three Musketeers. By next week, we'll be
consumed with rehearsals from 6 to 8, four sometimes five days a week. It's
going to be fun, but it will definitely absorb a lot of my free time for the
next two months. 

On top of everything else, I've got to remember to be present for my family.
Sometimes I get so focused on my ambitions, I often forget the vital importance
of being a good father and husband.
